🍂 Beaverdale Fall Festival – A Beloved Neighborhood Celebration
Held annually in the heart of Des Moines’ Beaverdale neighborhood, the Beaverdale Fall Festival is a vibrant, community-driven event that blends tradition, entertainment, and local pride. In 2025, it takes place on September 19–20.

Parade: A crowd favorite, featuring local schools, organizations, and community groups marching down Beaver Avenue. Don’t miss the grand marshal and the candy toss!
Dog Parade: Adorably themed and judged, this mini-parade showcases costumed pups and their owners. Categories include Best Duo and People’s Choice.
Live Music: Four stages host performances both nights, with genres ranging from folk to rock to pop.
Trivia & Car Night: Friday kicks off with a classic car showcase and a lively trivia competition hosted by The Rook Room.
Cornhole Tournament: Saturday brings friendly competition and music at the intersection of Beaver and Urbandale Avenues.
Vendor Market: Local artisans, businesses, and food vendors line the streets offering everything from handmade crafts to gourmet snacks.
Beer Tent & Hydration Station: Enjoy local brews and stay refreshed with free water refills.
